Sustainable Prefab Duplex By Smply Posted: 12 Nov 2012 08:38 PM PST Moyle Duplex is a sustainable prefab duplex created by SMPLy Design Studio, in collaboration with 9 Dot Engineering and Mod Home Developments. They are claimed to have good energy efficiency compared to ordinary home.
This eco construction is completed with a lot of sustainable features, such as bamboo flooring, instantaneous hot water heating system, super efficient wall and roof assemblies, etc. They also have passive solar lighting and heat recovery ventilation. Solar panels may be installed easily when needed. The sustainable prefab home building was produced in a factory by Mod Home Developments. They have three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. The building is claimed to use 40-55% less energy than ordinary traditional house, thanks to all of energy efficient appliances. The sustainable building achieved an EnerGuide rating of 82.
