The Unique And Sustainable Design Of D*haus Posted: 08 Nov 2012 10:06 PM PST D*Haus is a unique sustainable home design created by David Ben Grunberg and Daniel Woolfson. It has unique feature that makes this house can adapt very well with the weather changes and seasons. Yes, this is a changeable house….
This eco construction was designed as Grunberg’s graduation project. He designed this house to deal with extreme temperature changes. It can change its form by move part by part of its series of equilateral triangles, inspired by mathematical concept. Actually there are four parts of building modules that form a perfect square by move on rails. On hot season, they are opened, and closed during harsher season. A lot of openings are available in every part of this green architecture building, provide natural daylighting when they are opened. It may be formed in eight different shapes. Even this sustainable building is still in early stage of concept phase, the idea is very unique and futuristic, providing a new idea on creating a durable house that may deal with extreme weather. The sustainable design will be exhibited at London's Anise Gallery. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
