Chinese Drywall Not Linked To 11 Deaths Says CDC Posted: 08 Feb 2011 05:42 AM PST If you have had Chinese Drywall installed at your home you have one less thing to worry about according to the CDC. Dying. According to research done at the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia the Chinese Drywall did not contribute to the deaths of 11 people in Florida, Louisiana, and Virginia.
Now if you still have Chinese drywall in your house, I would not be too thrilled. The drywall still has major issues regarding corrosion that has lead to trouble with electrical wiring. And other health issues including nosebleeds, respiratory problems, and other symptoms have been occurring with greater frequency in homes that have had the inferior drywall installed.
