Green Architecture Design Of The Green House By Hiren Patel Architects Posted: 20 Nov 2012 08:03 PM PST The Green House was designed by Hiren Patel Architects, an architectural firm from India, with green architecture design concept. This sustainable home offers high sustainability and combination between technology and architecture idea.
The floor plan of this eco construction is set to have good connection each other, and also connection to open space. Ramp leads to formal living room, unlike other houses in area. The formal living room and the family room are connected with dining space. The family room has big openings and plantation space. All of these rooms are located in the ground floor. The first floor consists of a music room and the kid’s bedroom. There is a gymnasium and open terrace in the second floor. Sustainable home design and LEED concepts were applied. The ceilings for bedrooms are elevated to provide natural lighting through the rooms. Heat reduction is a concern also, supported by external façade of the house, which has unique wooden screen that provide harsh sun light protection. The uses of local materials and green, non-toxic materials were encouraged. The sustainable architecture building involves art & art-objects, combined with the green architecture concepts, makes timeless quality for the design. |
