Sustainable Home Design Of Ck Series By Livinghomes Posted: 17 Nov 2012 08:38 AM PST CK model is another product of sustainable home design by LivingHomes. The design was made based on the C6 concept launched before. The design provide high sustainability, flexibility and also affordable price.
There are three types available for CK model, CK4, CK5, and CK7. All models will be built be Cavco, and will meet the Z6 Environmental Goals of Zero Energy, Zero Water, Zero Emissions, Zero Carbon, Zero Waste, and Zero Ignorance. The construction of the three types of sustainable building homes will take about two months, and they will need only a day to be installed. The eco constructions will also be completed with some sustainable features, such as energy-efficient lighting and appliances, floor-to-ceiling glass to allow natural lighting, low-flow water fixtures, clerestory windows, light tubes, transom windows, sliding glass doors, cork floors, a wood ceiling, formaldehyde-free millwork, wood siding, real-time energy monitoring system, etc. As they will be built as modular concept, there will be some floor plans, from 1,300 to 2,200 sq ft. For the example, a CK7 model, installed next year on a property in Bell Canyon, California, will have two stories, three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and about 2,200 sq ft. The green architecture houses are such models of building with LEED Platinum level environmental program, high-quality modular build, and modern design inspired by Ray Kappe, FAIA. |
