Green Architecture of Vista Del Valle by Zimmerman and Associates Posted: 11 Aug 2012 01:43 AM PDT A beautiful, modern, and green architecture building was designed by Zimmerman and Associates, named Vista Del Valle. This sustainable building house is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Sonoma, CA. It may provide a beautiful place to stay, as its beautiful valley’s views captured from any angles of the house. It also adopts some sustainable design concept.
To provide good energy efficiency, some sustainable features were adopted for this sustainable home design. Natural ventilation is provided by clerestory windows and operable windows and doors, and there are no air conditioners needed. Natural daylighting is provided by the large window openings provided over the spaces. The roof may cover the house and protect it from harsh sun light. Sustainable energy from solar energy is maximized by the house orientation, to provide enough energy to heat the water used for radiant floor heating in cooler season. |
