The best of South Africa As the year draws to a close we have been asking ourselves what is the best thing about South Africa. While there have been a lot of answers nobody is quite satisfied that they have given an answer that captures what's best about it. It must also be said that it is true that South Africa has remarkable people from unique and diverse cultures, spectacular scenery, unique history, astonishing natural beauty, abundant wildlife and the endless adventure possibilities, and while this is great, it's not what's best. From its more than 20 national parks showcasing the best of South Africa's wildlife and cultural assets, to wine tasting in the Cape, to viewing game in the Kruger National Park, to its magnificent beaches, it isn't the experience, person, activity or place.
