Sustainable Green Prefab Casa Cedeira in Spain by MYCC Posted: 26 Dec 2011 11:32 PM PST MYCC, an architectural firm based on Madrid, Spain, designed a sustainable green prefab house called Casa Cedeira. This beautiful sustainable architecture building offers modular design, with high energy efficiency and zero waste. The unique exterior design also provide good blending to surroundings.
The sustainable design of this house is provided by its modular design and the materials used for the building. Created from 6 standard modules, this eco friendly construction is designed to have open floor plan to provide flexibility on setting the spaces for the owner. The house consists of two levels. The design is very simple, almost like a barn or warehouse. Some eco friendly materials are used to form this eco construction, such as bamboo for top level flooring, non-toxic VIROC® (a material made from a mix of wood and cement), and galvanized steel shell that may provide good durability and strength. Natural ventilation and natural lighting are provided by some windows available. The unique forest patterns were provided on the exterior, creating a good blend with the natural environment.
