A Sustainable Architecture Building in Italia by Comfort Architecten Posted: 06 Dec 2011 05:17 PM PST A sustainable architecture building has been designed by Comfort Architecten. It is a modern house for a family lives in Toblach, Italia. It is called Wohnhaus Planit C, this house is also completed with several sustainable features to maximize the energy efficiency. The beautiful view of surroundings becomes a good added value.
The green building architecture was formed by staggered volumes that surrounds the central courtyard. The ground floor covers the entrance area, a work room, and a living space that faces the atrium. A wide staircase connects this floor to the floors above that house the kitchen, dining area, and bedrooms. A small apartment is also located in this level, can be accessed from external staircase. The master bedroom completed with an open bathroom and dressing room are located in the top level. Fitness and wellness area is located in the basement. The staggered construction applied in this sustainable design encourages the natural day lighting to the house, even to the basement part, thanks to the use of large floor-to-ceiling glass windows / walls.
