| Sustainable Prefabricated Building Addition Airclad by Inflate Products, Ltd. Posted: 26 Nov 2010 09:09 PM PST Airclad is prefabricated building room addition, product of Inflate Products, Ltd. This modular building is produced to support the using of energy efficient systems for house’s room addition programs and other building’s green remodeling.
AirClad is semi permanent structure. It was design as inflatable structure, so it can be deflated if it is not in use. This modular shed can be used as office room, or another fuctional room addition.
Beside the semi permanent feature and its portability, this structure is design to reduce carbon footprint that comes with building conventional structures. The prefab building also uses materials that can be recycled. Materials like wood, steel trusses, plywood, aluminum, plastic, and of course air, are used. It requires less materials than the conventional. There are some sizes, from 3, 4, 5, and 6 meter widths, and can extend up to 20 m longs.
This modular construction makes this prefab building can be used for a lot of outdoor or indoor needs. And of course it can reduce the environmental impact and cost on home improvement financing.
