Long form means all of things that take more times to access, like books, films, etc. The opposite of long form is short form, like internet, magazines, text messages, etc. That’s why this project is called long form library, as it is used to access books, which needs more longer time. The object was designed as a circular object with several shelves to place the books a long the circumferences of object. At the inner bottom part, there is a sitting place where people can sit and read the book. It also has several lights along the circumference that act as a clock. Their brightness can change according to the daylight and night condition, as they have timers. Reading lamps are placed for reading in the most obvious manner. This object was made from hand-cut plywood materials and has 26 cm tall. |
