| Compact Furniture Set by KAMKAM Posted: 01 Nov 2010 11:49 PM PDT A compact furniture was designed by KAMKAM, Korean design group. They are called An Furniture.
At glance, the furniture like an old fashioned cup board. However, this not only a single cupboard. It is a combination among several furniture types in several dimensions.
The dimension of each furniture was inspired by the Ax sheets’ dimension (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, etc). They have special ration that keeps the dimension always the same in ratio when they are folded. By using this inspiration on the furniture design, the designer can have savings the raw material. The furniture consists of a closet, a bookshelf, a storage cabinet and a drawer. Made of wooden materials, the front side of the furniture has natural finishing, while the back and the side are painted in white color. When combined, they are clamped together.
