Built with condition partially submerged into the south of a hill, this arched building provides several sustainable features. This gorgeous building is CasaClima Class A+ certified building, means it is certified as a "climate house." This building offer high efficiency of energy savings and a healthy environment. This building has five fir laminated arches that stretch the entire curve of the building, anchored into the ground on both side. Many offices are housed, auditorium with 150 people capacity is available. This auditorium is designed to enhanced acoustics. Silver anodized aluminum panels are used for the ceiling, as sound absorber. The panels are arranged so lights from the skylights can enter to the room.
A series of solar panels are provided on the arches to provide clean energy for the house, also create shades. This arrangement create a covered patio, which is completely shaded in summer, protected from the sun, but still provide the sun to permeate through under the louvers to warm the building in winter. This side is faced to the south, maximizing the sun capture by the solar panels.
The building is covered by the earth of the hill on one side, the other side is ventilated facades, covered by black Gres tiles, that protect from the elements and allow for natural cooling of the inner core of the walls keeping them in good conditions. The earth itself acts as natural insulation for the building.
