Unique Chair Design by Henry van Nistelrooy Posted: 11 Oct 2010 09:15 PM PDT A unique design of chair was made by Henry van Nistelrooy, called Stitched. The materials used here make this design very unique and unbelievable.
This chair is made from unusual material for making furniture, fabric. Usually, people will use wood, plastic, steel, or other materials that can provide a strong enough furniture. But this, fabric is really used, not a usual fabric, but a high technology fabric, such as carbon fibre and kevlar.
With combination of sewing and weaving, a strong enough furniture can be made. They may not be a “solid” furniture, but they are as durable and sturdy as the plastic or wooden furniture. This Stitched is also produced with materials like that. This chair is also offering comfortability and durability. Do not worry for sitting on it, as it can support our body even it is made from fabric. It is made by simple tools, like sewing machine and scissors. |
