Prefab Plus House by Claesson Koivisto Rune Posted: 14 Jul 2010 05:43 PM PDT This prefab house is designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune for Arkitekthus. This design is inspired by traditional Swedish barn house.
This house is a two storey house. Almost all of sides of the house are glazed, instead of windows are positioned like a regular “hole” along the walls. On the entrance floor, both long walls are glazed. On the upper floor, the gable ends are glazed. These two lines of vision straight through the building are perpendicular like a plus sign. The house also provide spaces for outdoor activities, such as outdoor dining, have a “chit-chat” time with others, etc. With a lot of glazing, the outdoor and indoor living seems to have no border. The glazing also provides better views and better natural lighting for the house. The interior is dominated with white color paint, makes the house more elegance and modern. |
