Unique Prefab Housing Design by Visiondivision Posted: 15 Jun 2010 12:14 AM PDT This design of prefab housing, called The Peak, was made by Visiondivision. Its pyramidal shape makes this prefab house unique. There are two types in the series. They are designed as a comfortable vacation house.
The prefab house was designed to accommodate the summer time guests in a flexible, yet compact space. They can house a large amount of guests thanks to a sleeping mezzanine floor. The house is pyramidal in its shape with a wood façade with a gap between each board allowing climbing. The house has three floor. The first floor is the public space, including a kitchen and a living room, the second floor is the mezzanine sleeping floor, and bedroom and bathroom are located in the upper floor. Some hatches connected the inside part and the outside part, providing private entrance for each guests. They also provide better view from the bedroom. Although it was designed to accommodate the summer time vacation, the prefab house can be used for another conditions and locations. There are two types of the house, the 90 sq m type and the 45 sq m type. The 45 sq m type has only one master bedroom, and can hold 6 persons in the mezzanine floor. The 90 sq m type has doubled amount of bedroom, bathroom and also the capacity for the mezzanine floor. |
