Beach Refuge by Pablo Errazuriz Posted: 10 Jun 2010 12:42 AM PDT This is a refuge, designed by Pablo Errazuriz., located at Huentelauquén, 260 km at north of Santiago, Chile. This is a place to spend a short vacation time on the place near the beach.
There are 3 main object in this site : the container, the tent yard, and the water tower. The project area is 5,000 sq m and the site area is 24 sq m. The container is completed with kitchen and bathroom. It is a recovered container, cladded with orten steel plates with wooden boards painted white for the interiors. Open areas is also provided, at the first floor, also at the roof level. The tent yard is a small area marked by low stone walls with river sand, connected trough gravel footsteps. The water tower is 3 level tower. At the first level, it is used for a warehouse and “engine room”. The second floor is used for a bedroom, and the 3rd floor is used for the water tank. |
