Nevada Preservation Foundation is a non-profit advocacy and education group devoted to promoting awareness of Mid Century Architecture and Design. One of our missions is to assist the various vintage neighborhoods of Las Vegas in achieving official “Historic District” designation and recognition.

I’m proud to serve on the NPF Board of Directors, and to have helped plan this major event.

Join us for the Nevada Preservation Foundation’s First Annual Home Tour!

Our next event is a a home tour of about 15 homes on Sunday May 3rd, 2015 from Noon to Five pm.

Our Home Tour 2015 is on Sunday, May 3 starting at 12:00pm. Join us at theHistoric Antonio Morelli House for the Home Tour’s kick off event hosted by the Junior League of Las Vegas and none other than architect and historian Alan Hess.

Mr. Hess will talk on the unique approach to Modern life and design in Las Vegas that over the years has produced distinctive and influential results. As the German Bauhaus became a focus for one approach to Modernism based on modern industry, Las Vegas drew on Western life, modern suburban development, and the architecture of pleasure to create another interpretation of Modernism.
