Yahoo and Zillow Create Real Estate Ad Network Posted: 09 Jul 2010 06:20 AM PDT The relationship between Yahoo and Zillow just got tighter. The two companies have already had a relationship with Zillow providing Yahoo real estate section home valuations, but now the companies are launching a new real estate ad network. It looks like from first glance that Zillow will now push their for sale listings to Yahoo’s real estate website. So my guess is that Yahoo is having a hard time filling it’s advertising inventory and that Zillow is being much more successful filling theirs. What it does say to me is that Yahoo Real Estate is turning quickly into a Zillow managed entity. Yahoo has the traffic but has no idea how to monetize it, and Zillow has the content and now advertisers and is in a position to make Yahoo’s site effective.
