Home Buyer Tax Credit Extention Passes House, NOT Senate, Not President Posted: 30 Jun 2010 06:19 AM PDT Before we get too excited that the tax credit extension for closings is a sure thing, remember that there is a process for a bill becoming a law in the United States Government. A bill to extend the closing window on the Home Buyer Tax Credit from it’s official end today passed the House of Representatives yesterday. It still needs to pass the Senate and be signed by the President. If you are on the bubble, do everything you can to get closed today, June 30th. Everything.
