Sustainable Design of Lamboo’s Studio Project Posted: 05 Jul 2010 10:37 PM PDT This sustainable studio is designed by Lamboo. This studio is built as a showroom for Lamboo’s product related to the projects of sustainability, functionality, and performances in a building. A unique design of “S” shape roof is used for this studio. This design gives wavy effect for the roof, also give a unique character for the studio. LAMBOO® STRUCTURE™ (Laminated Structural Bamboo) curved beams are used for the roof structure and Lamboo beams implemented for the floor/deck joists. For the interior design, LAMBOO® DESIGN™ products are used. LAMBOO® VUE™ component material was used for the windows and doors. Uni-Solar panels are also attached on this aluminum roof to provide natural energy from the sunlight. During the summer, the roof will provide optimal protection for the studio from direct sun heating to provide less energy of cooling system. roof from the top

This designer always focuses its design for the kid’s furniture.Their products are always aimed to awaken child’s curiosity and encourage play to promote their development into independent adults. This bunk bed is designed as a foldable bunk bed. It can be assembled by only 1 person. It is very elegance and beautiful. It is made from birch plywood for the structure combined with a flexible yet highly durable loden fabric covering. All of the materials are eco-friendly materials, and 100% recyclable. It is produced by the latest CNC technology to make high precision cutting. Firmly connected by the fleece layer at their edges, the elements can be simply folded into their assembled shape. The unique is the lower platform position which is almost at the ground level. This level can be used as playing area or “nest” area. If the mattress is set on the lower platform, it can be used as second bed. The dimension of this bed is 90 x 200 x 135 cm. The low overall height makes this bed suitable for low ceiling room. This also reduce the risk of children fall out of the upper level. The loden material is water resistance, and has inherent self-cleansing properties which can be cleaned up further by vacuum cleaner, cloth, or brush. Some color options are available.
