Sustainable Table Called Mâché by Matthias Ries Design Office Posted: 02 Jul 2010 09:07 PM PDT Mâché is designed by Matthias Ries Design Office. It is a unique table due to the material used for the table board.
Paper pulp is chosen for the table board’s material. Not like another paper pulp project, in this project, no additives, like epoxy resin, are used. This makes the table more eco-friendly, and recyclable. The paper pulp is made from some newspapers. The surfaces are treated with pure linseed oil and sealed by linseed oil paint to make them waterproof. The bottom side of the table board has rib structure. For the legs, wood material is chosen. They are easily plugged into the rib structure of the table board. The linseed oil coating is also used for the legs.

Posted: 02 Jul 2010 07:26 PM PDT Phatport is a unique product of Phat Energy that utilize solar panels as the main feature. Phatport has several form, as a carport, a patio, or another forms.
Two types of Phatport have been released, the Phatport 350 and Phatport 200. Phatport 200 is designed for solar carport. It can be used for 1-2 cars and can be multiplied. It is built using steel frame, and all of the wires are hidden. For the solar panel, Sanyo 200 Bi-facial is used. This type of panel can produce light not only from the top, but also the bottom side of the panel, adding another 15 to 20% to the CEC-rated production by allowing the light penetrating the panel and providing the electricity from the bottom side of panel. Phatport 200 is installed with a proprietary cladding which keeps water from penetrating underneath the panels to the wood framing. That feature also creates a rain-resistant environment underneath the structure.
Phatport 350 is designed as a head-tuning stand-alone solar energy structure. It is designed to be assembled fast. It can be half folded to provide easier way of transporting and faster way of assembling. Just like the other type of Phatport, the 350 type also has unique translucent panels that can provide 15% of light to penetrate and maximize the power production. It is 1/3 times faster to erect than the others. The 350 will capable of supporting 2.5 kw solar array and can be customized with lights, EV charges, electrical outlets, and column design options.
